The challenge
Brid Tech was launching a venture to help U.S. small and mid-sized businesses strengthen their sales development. Dedicated SDRs would prospect, qualify and book meetings for clients' sales teams to close. The challenge was turning an early-stage team into a scalable function that consistently produced qualified opportunities. When I joined, the team was just 2 people.
What I did
- Prospecting: built targeted lists, reached decision makers, cold called and qualified opportunities.
- Appointment setting: booked qualified meetings and ran follow-ups to keep a steady flow into the pipeline.
- Team building: helped grow the team from 2 to about 10–12 and set up clearer workflows for outreach and booking.
- Client coordination: worked with clients on their target market, coordinated between SDRs and client sales teams, and handed qualified opportunities over for closing.
My role grew from individual prospecting into sales development, team growth, client relationships and support through to closing.
